Vibez Ink LLC ("Modelstry," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Modelstry mobile application, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Modelstry is a platform that connects models with photographers, videographers, and agencies. Using it necessarily means sharing some information with other users — this policy explains exactly what.
1. Information You Provide #
Account information. Your name, email address, date of birth or age, and general location (city/region). If you verify a phone number, we store it in hashed form so the same number cannot be registered twice; we do not keep the number itself in readable form. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and the email address associated with that account. If you use Sign in with Apple's private relay, we receive only the relay address.
Profile information. Profile photo, gallery photos and videos, biography, account type (model, photographer, videographer, agency), skills, experience, and rates.
Identity verification. If you request account verification, the selfie and any documentation you submit for that purpose.
Communications. Messages you exchange with other users, group collaboration messages, and any correspondence with our support team — including messages sent to our in-app support assistant.
Referral information. Referral codes you enter or share.
2. Information Collected With Your Permission #
The app asks for the following device permissions. Each is optional, each is requested only when the related feature is used, and denying any of them does not prevent you from using the rest of the app.

3. Information Collected Automatically #
- Device information (model, operating system version, app version) and a device identifier used by our payments provider to associate a purchase with your account
- Usage data (features used, session activity, and a periodic heartbeat we use to keep your subscription status and profile in sync)
- Approximate location, where you have granted permission. Your device works out which city you are in; it is the city's coordinates that are sent to us, not your exact position. Other users only ever see a rounded distance, never a location
- Server records of requests your app makes, which we keep for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting
- A push notification token, if you enable notifications
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not collect crash or performance telemetry — the app contains no crash-reporting or analytics SDK.
What this looks like on the App Store #
Apple asks every app to declare its data collection on its App Store product page. Ours declares the following. Every item is linked to your account, and none of it is used for tracking:

4. How We Use Your Information #
- To create and operate your account
- To show your profile to other users and show you theirs
- To power discovery, matching, and messaging
- To process subscriptions and in-app purchases, and to determine which features your plan includes
- To verify identity when you request verification
- To send you notifications you have enabled, and transactional email such as email verification and password reset codes
- To respond to support requests
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your personal information to train machine learning models.
5. What Other Users Can See #
- Your profile — photo, gallery, bio, account type, skills, and approximate distance — is visible to other users browsing the app.
- Users you have matched with can message you and see your full profile.
- Your exact location is never shown to other users. Only approximate distance is displayed.
- Your email address, date of birth, and payment information are never shown to other users.
You control what appears on your profile and can edit or remove content at any time.
6. Who We Share Information With #
We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed to run the service:

We may also disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Modelstry, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Data Security #
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access-controlled storage, and time-limited signed URLs for media. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention and Deletion #
We retain your information for as long as your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, videos, and messages from our systems. Account data is deleted immediately upon request. System backups and server logs are automatically purged within 30 days.
Deleting your Modelstry account does not cancel an active subscription. Because subscriptions are billed by Apple, you must cancel separately in your Apple ID settings to stop future charges — see the Terms of Use.
9. Your Rights and Choices #
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw permissions (camera, photos, location, contacts, calendar) at any time in iOS Settings
- Turn off push notifications
- Opt out of non-essential email
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to deletion. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no "Do Not Sell or Share" action to take. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
10. Children's Privacy #
Modelstry is intended for adults and requires you to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a minor is using Modelstry, contact support@modelstry.com.
11. International Users #
Modelstry is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you use the app from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Changes to This Policy #
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version.
